2009 Mission Trails Adventure – Saturday November 14

The race was meant to be at Otay Lakes, but as the parking area there has closed for the winter we quickly changed and used an old course in Mission Trails.

Thanks to the almost 40 people who raced and accepted the ups and downs of Mission Trails.

We had a short course (about 12½ miles, 2500 ft elevation) and a long course (15 miles and 2800 ft elevation).  One team run the entire long course, and we had 2 teams hike the South Fortuna stairs, hence the various results:

Time adjustments were made for missed checkpoints, so if your time is longer than you thought that is why.  Also, the times for each section of the course were from TA1 arrival to TA2 arrival to Finish, so any transition time is added to the run and bike-2 sections.

Saida Perez took photos and you can go here to see them.

Thanks again, and hope to see you in 4 weeks at Mission Bay.
